Product Overview
Scotch-Brite™ EXL Deburring Wheel with silicon carbide. The DW-3 is a 10″ diameter wheel that is 1″ wide and has a 5″ arbor hole. The DW-3 is rated at 9S Fin. The DW-4 uses FL1 flanges to mount to a 3/4″ arbor.
Silicon carbide is a synthetic mineral that is very sharp and commonly used for low-pressure applications such as paint prep and finishing. Silicon carbide breaks down faster than aluminum oxide and produces a finer finish.
Scotch-Brite™ EXL Deburring Wheel is a convolute-constructed wheel that provides mid-range aggressiveness and hardness for deburring, edge radius, blending, polishing, and finishing. Our deburring wheel performs best when consistently presented with a sharp edge or metal burrs.
The EXL wheel is well suited for deburring, blending and finishing.
