Grateful Recipients
One of the lucky recipients Gordon Graham was “totally shocked” to win the grinder. According to Graham, “it is an amazing piece of equipment. I’ve been making knives since 1980 and have had several grinders over the years. This is the smoothest of them all.”
Lin Rhea won the grinder in 2012 and “can’t brag enough about Burr King’s fine equipment and about its associates.” Rhea also added his appreciation for not only Burr King, but for Tom McGinnis and his crew who sets up and demonstrates at the show.
President of the Arkansas Knifemakers Association Chuck Ward, stated that Burr King’s “generous donations have greatly helped the show become one of the top knife shows in the U.S.”
MacCarthy is overwhelmed by the kind words offered by the Association and its members. MacCarthy also added he’s “proud that Tom Mcginnis and Ozark Knifemakers for the work they have done over the years with not only the Arkansas Gala but in carrying on the Burr King tradition of the best customer service in the industry.”
