We purchased a Burr King 960-272 grinder at the Branson knife event a couple of weeks ago. We want to let you know that it is all that we expected, and more. My son-in-law and I have been making a few knives using a grinder that was not designed for this type work. Tom McGinnis demonstrated the Burr King and we decided that we had to have this piece of equipment.
Tom was gracious enough to invite us to
his shop in Ozark, Mo for instruction on the machine, and to actually
make a knife. This past Saturday, July 11, 2009, we spent nine hours at
Tom's shop, and we each left with a very nice Damascus fixed flade
knife.
We both feel that Tom went above and
beyond what was expected, and we owe him a debt of gratitude for
spending his Saturday working with us. It's not often in today's world
that you receive this type service when you buy something. We feel that
you are very fortunate to have a dealer who is willing to put forth this
kind of effort.
